The corona effect of BOPP:
In order to increase the surface tension of the film and the bonding strength between the film and the ink, the surface must be corona treated before printing. BOPP is a non-polar polymer with high chemical stability and low surface tension, making it difficult to be infiltrated by most inks and solvents.
